Getting What You Want: Assertive Communication skills is the foundation course.
9.30am - 4.30pm x 2 days
Do you have a problem / challenge to 'Speak Up and Be Heard' as confidently as you'd like? Are you too empathetic? Or maybe you get too emotional?
Do you find it difficult to say ‘No’ and set boundaries.

‘Getting What You Want’ gives you the confidence, skills, tools and techniques to ‘speak up and be heard, balanced with empathy, under an umbrella of respect’.

The week in between gives participants a focused 7 days to practice the key techniques and tools, before we add more tools and expand and integrate the assertive skills tool kit on the second day.
For those that implement the techniques and tools GWYW can be transformational.

Advanced Assertive Skills - one day 9am - 5pm builds on the foundational skills.
If participants feel they have quite good assertive skills - then this is the course to take them further.
The day dives deep and is divided into 4 sessions: Mind, Emotions, Physiology and Assertive Language.
Communicate calmly and professionally, even in stressful and emotionally charged situations. Stand up and respectfully speak up and be heard in all situations. Learn how to connect, engage and empathise for greater influence, productivity and profitable relationships.

Assertive Conversation Skills Practise - one day 9am - 5pm
Are you avoiding ‘difficult’ conversations? Or, you’re having them but not getting good results?
This one-day practical training course will give you the confidence, skills, tools and techniques to handle tough conversations with less stress and more success.
Practice your assertive conversations - get good at the ones that are currently too challenging / too difficult. The Key words are practising and conversations
Ideally this is the third course, because participants have all the tools and techniques.
Each participant writes down two of their 'challenging' conversations scenarios.
Yvonne contextualises so they are relevant for everyone.
Then she leads through discussion, role plays, we explore options, participants practise . . . and through feedback Yvonne coaches as well as teaches and demonstrates the whole assertive package.
